My first identified form of musical expression, from early childhood, was piano improvisation. When I was a kid, I would press "record" on a portable tape recorder, make things up on our upright piano or a keyboard, then have my parents write the title and track listing on a cassette J-card. Edition one of one.
Though light reverb and delay has been applied on some tracks and volume has been adjusted when appropriate, no compression was used. Also, aside from one instance of start positioning and obvious fades, the improvisations on this album are unedited. No piano sounds were overdubbed.
